Member Fees

Bidding and Buying Fees

Fee A applies to the following:

•  High-volume Members using preferred payment

Fee B applies to the following:

• High-volume Members using non-preferred payment

Fee C applies to the following:

• Low-volume Members using preferred payment

Fee D applies to the following:

• Low-volume Members using non-preferred payment

Member fees are based on final sale price, payment method and purchase volume. High volume Members are those who purchase eighteen or more Lots from a single MEA yard per calendar year.

If any portion of the payment is applied to non-preferred funds, non-preferred funds fees apply for that lot.

Member Registration Fees

Standard membership - 630 AED or Premium membership 1260 AED. 

 

Bank Repossessed Court Auction 

Free membership for 12 months from day of membership activation. Members who wish to participate exclusively in Court vehicle auctions are required to provide a minimum AED 25,000 security cheque deposit, granting a bidding power of up to 10 times the deposit amount.

For property auction, the buyer must provide a 20% security deposit of the total desired bidding power.

Once the sale is approved, the buyer must complete payment for the vehicle within 3 days. Sale cancellations are strictly prohibited. Failure to make payment will result in the buyer’s credentials being submitted to the Court for further action.

 

Cheque Return Fee

AED 1050 will be charged to each returned cheque issued to Copart. Subsequently when returned cheque is presented to legal team for recovery of funds, all legal fees incurred on the case will be charged to drawer (buyer) of the cheque.

 

Late Payment 

The vehicle amount and all applicable fees must be paid within 3 business days of purchase, including the day of sale, to avoid a fee of 790 AED per vehicle. This means that if the bid is approved on a Tuesday morning, then winning bidders have until 5.00 pm on Thursday to clear their funds in full without incurring a late payment.

UAE Storage Fees

 

Lot Retrieval Fee Dubai DIC Yard

A fee of AED 265 is payable for each vehicle purchased. This must be settled at the same time as the sales price and other relevant fees. Buyers’ drivers are 100% responsible for securing their load at all times and Copart accepts no liability for this process if it is asked to assist. Collection of vehicles can occur from Monday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Lot Retrieval Fee Abu-Dhabi (Kizad) Yard

A fee of AED 350 is payable for each vehicle purchased. This must be settled at the same time as the sales price and other relevant fees.

 

Re-list (Sale Cancellation) 

If the winning member does not settle full purchase price, and all outstanding fees, in full, within 7 days of the buyer being notified of their winning bid, a sales cancellation of 20% of the purchase price will be payable, minimum AED 2,100. This means that if an auction takes place on a Monday, then winning bidders have until 5 p.m. on the following Wednesday to pay, without incurring and losing the vehicle, which will be re-listed.

 

Title Fee

A fee of AED 105 will be charged to each lot which title will be disbursed to buyers at the time of full payment. These lots will be listed in our website with notes of full title.

 

Third party contract sale fee

If a member needs to issue a contract of sale other than his registered buyer/company name, Copart will charge a fee of AED105 to this service and the member must sign a legal disclaimer. If you are registered with Copart MEA as a Company account, you are not eligible to access third party contract.

 

VAT refund fee

VAT refund fee per transaction AED 525. The amount will be refunded within 7 working days. 

 

Relist Re-award 

If a member wants Copart to re-award a lot which is already relisted from his account, then the buyer has to pay an additional  of AED 525 along with all applicable fee including late payment and storage fee.

 

Cardholder Fee

Each member account can hold up to three cardholders at a fee of AED 105 each. This fee is paid annually.  

 

PLEASE NOTE: All Copart Buyer Fees are subject to 5% VAT. Also please look for the Field  “VAT to be added to final sale price” in Vehicle information, to ensure the same.

 

PLEASE NOTE: In all cases above, cancellation of the Member’s account and banning from Copart auctions globally may also occur, if fees are not settled on time and in full.

The vehicle amount and all applicable fees must be paid within 3 business days of purchase, including the day of sale, to avoid a fee of BHD 82.5 per vehicle. This means that if the bid is approved on a Monday morning, then winning bidders have until 4.00 pm on the Wednesday to clear their funds in full without incurring a late payment.

Bahrain Storage Fees

 

Lot Retrieval Fee 

A fee of BHD 27.5 is payable for each vehicle purchased. This must be settled at the same time as the sales price and other relevant fees. Buyers’ drivers are 100% responsible for securing their load at all times and Copart accepts no liability for this process if it is asked to assist. Collection of vehicles can occur Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

 

Re-list (Sale Cancellation) 

If the winning member does not settle full purchase price, and all outstanding fees, in full, within 7 days of the buyer being notified of their winning bid, a sales cancellation of 20% of the purchase price will be payable, minimum BHD 220. This means that if an auction takes place on a Sunday, then winning bidders have until 5 p.m. on the following Tuesday to pay, without incurring and losing the vehicle, which will be re-listed.

 

Title fee

A title fee of BHD 11 will be charged to all lots.

 

Relist Re-award 

If a member wants Copart to re-award a lot which is already relisted from his account, then the buyer has to pay an additional of BHD 55 along with all applicable fee including late payment and storage fee.

 

VAT refund fee

VAT refund fee per transaction BHD 55. The amount will be refunded within 7 working days. 

 

Guest Fee

Member is allowed to bring a non-member guest into yard (maximum of 2) during preview days. Fee - 5.5 BHD

 

Cardholder Fee

Each member account can hold up to three cardholders at a fee of BHD 11 each. This fee is paid annually.

This means that if the bid is approved on a Monday morning, then winning bidders have until 5.00 pm on Wednesday to clear their funds in full amount without incurring a late payment.

Oman Storage Fees

 

Lot Retrieval Fee 

A fee of OMR 26.25 is payable for each vehicle purchased. This must be settled at the same time as the sales price and other relevant fees. Buyers’ drivers are 100% responsible for securing their load at all times and Copart accepts no liability for this process if it is asked to assist. Collection of vehicles can occur Sunday to Thursday, 9am – 5pm.

 

Re-list (Sale Cancellation) 

If the winning member does not settle full purchase price, and all outstanding fees, in full, within 7 days of the buyer being notified of their winning bid, a sales cancellation  of 20% of the purchase price will be payable, minimum OMR 210. This means that if an auction takes place on a Sunday, then winning bidders have until 5 p.m. on the following Tuesday to pay, without incurring and losing the vehicle, which will be re-listed.

 

Title Fee 

A title fee of OMR 10.5 will be charged to all lots including ATL & CTL.
Please note: Constructive Total Loss Salvage (CTL) Vehicles [means the total loss is deemed repairable, subject to Royal Oman Police technical inspection and, in the event of a pass, the vehicle can be refurbished and tested for the purpose of reregistration and road use in Oman. Copart cannot guarantee a pass result of the technical inspection and thus expressly does not guarantee the CTL category. The technical inspection outcome risk lies with the Member.

Ownership Vehicle Transfer Declaration

 

• Vehicles purchased from Copart Muscat Auctions cannot be driven or used until insurance, inspection, and ownership transfer are completed per Omani traffic laws.

• Buyers assume all legal, traffic, and financial liabilities, including losses, theft, or violations, during the repair period.

• Vehicles must be transferred within 90 days; failure to do so allows Copart to cancel the purchase.

• Once a vehicle's registration is canceled, it cannot be re-registered.

Notice

Based on the instructions of the Director General of the Traffic Department in the Sultanate of Oman, which states that any vehicle whose registration has been cancelled will not be re-registered at the request of the owner.
